Many companies, in particular in manufacturing, are eager to learn how to collect and mine data about their products and use it in order to improve their product design and/or service offering. However, they lack the necessary insights into novel technologies, how to deploy and use them, and how to establish new servitisation business models based on them.
In October 2018, Sirris, Hahn-Schickard and Forschungszentrum Informatik successfully launched the InsightProducts project, which aims at supporting companies to acquire qualitative data from deployed products in the field, in order to improve their product and service offerings.
In the second user group meeting, Sirris will present a consolidation of the challenges and expectations expressed by these companies and a series of demonstrators to be developed in the remaining part of the project, aligned with these challenges and expectations.

Any cancellation has to be made by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org). Cancellations made before the 3 workdays preceding the meeting are free of charge. After this deadline, 50% of the participation fee will be charged (incl. VAT). In case of cancellation the day itself, the full amount of the registration will be due. In case of 'no-show' the full amount of the registration fee will be due too. Replacement by a colleague is always possible if notified in advance by e-mail to email@example.com.
